LED uplighting can turn an ordinary event into something spectacular bringing together sights, sounds, and tastes into a symphony of excitement. Lighting sets the tone of your event from the instant guests arrive bringing bigger than life proportions.

Lighting used to be extremely expensive, now it is a special event necessity. You’ll appreciate our expertise, multitude of options and ideas to take your event to the next level with light.

“Uplighting” or “up lighting”, gets it’s name from the direction of the beams of light that are projected on to a wall or other surface. Usually several fixtures are placed at a low position around the room, at the bottom of a wall or a set of columns for example.

The lights are pointed UP so the corresponding beams of light highlight the wall and shoot towards the ceiling. The effect can be quite dramatic and can help define a space and add color as well as dimension to an area.

Uplighting is especially useful when there are no decorations allowed on the walls, where there is little or no ambient light or an area that needs to stand out from its surroundings.

It’s always nice to look good, especially for pictures or formal occasions. So here it is the day before a big event, do you wax or don’t you?
When it comes to waxing, I think you should go 3-5 days before your big event to get waxed. The reason why, waxing can cause a little irritation. Who really wants that showing up on such a big occasion? Whether it be a little redness, or even a few bumps (if someone uses contaminated wax, which you will never find with me!) I refuse to double dip, but putting makeup on freshly waxed eyebrows doesn’t look good (it’s usually doesn’t go on properly). Also, according to waxing manufactures, you should wait 12- 24 hours before applying makeup to a newly waxed area.
There are other ways to hide those pesky little hairs, then to wax. Talk to me or your favorite makeup artist for more details.

Who pays what? A couples main headache in figuring out who handles what expenses when paying for their weddings.

Who Pays for What?

Working out a budget for your wedding is one of the first things that should be done, once the date is set. This one task will create many different questions and concerns. Will the ceremony be formal, semiformal or informal? A formal wedding, of course, will be the most expensive and informal, the least. Once some decisions are made about where your wedding will take place, how many guests you’ll have, what food you are choosing, etc… The hard question comes: Who pays for what? Unlike a decade ago, the lines are no longer rigidly drawn. The burden of paying for the wedding has shifted in recent years from the shoulders of the father of the bride, to now including the groom’s family. Also, with many couples becoming more independent and marrying in their later years and having money of their own, they are sharing in the expenses or even paying for everything on themselves.

There are no longer any hard and fast rules as to “Who Pays for What”, but a general guideline follows as to the traditional budget breakdown. Nothing is set in stone and these items can always be dispersed differently to fit each couples needs.
